Why I Think We Travel the Way We Do
It’s not out of impulse.
Not to run away.
But to find ourselves again.
We grew up watching people do everything “right.”
Study hard. Get the job. Buy the house.
Follow the plan — and still feel something missing.
Somewhere along the way, life became a checklist instead of a journey.
So we started to look for something different — something real.
And may that’s why we travel.
Not to escape life, but to reconnect with it.
To slow down. To feel wonder again.
To remind ourselves that meaning doesn’t live in milestones — it lives in moments.
We trade furniture for plane tickets, routines for stories, and comfort for curiosity.
Because every trip, every detour, every quiet sunrise reminds us of who we are when the world finally goes quiet.
Maybe we don’t have it all figured out.
But that’s okay.
We’re not running away — we’re finding our way back.
Maybe we don’t have it all figured out.
But we’ve learned one thing:
Waiting too long costs more than going.
